User Data Deletion

Last updated: 1 July 2026 · Data deletion instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with your use of the SmarterArtificial Bot. It also serves as the data deletion instructions for the "SmarterArtificial Bot" application on the Meta platform.

Local-first by design. The primary copy of your conversations is held on the host device that runs your assistant, not on a central SmarterArtificial server. The host can delete that copy directly. Use the steps below for any data associated with your use of the Bot through a messaging platform.

How to request deletion

Email info@smarterartificial.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request and include:

  • the messaging platform you used (e.g. WhatsApp, Messenger, Teams, Telegram);

  • the display name you used with the Bot; and

  • the phone number or platform user ID associated with your messages.

You do not need an account or password to make a request.

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt of your request.

  2. We delete the data associated with your use of the Bot that is under our control, and ask the relevant host to remove the corresponding on-device copy.

  3. We aim to complete deletion within 30 days and will confirm when it is done.

Some limited information may be retained where we are legally required to keep it; we delete it once that requirement ends.

Delete your copy too

You can also delete the conversation with the Bot directly inside your messaging app (for example by deleting the chat in WhatsApp or Messenger). On WhatsApp and Messenger you may additionally block the Bot to stop further messages.
